Final Summer Reading Reviews

The teen and adult summer reading programs concluded on Friday with the drawing for prizes this morning, but before I draw I need to post the final reviews submitted by summer readers.
A Reluctant Queen by Joan Wolf. A very good retelling of the biblical story of Queen Esther.

Girl Who Played with Fire by Stieg Larsson. It was an exciting and intriguing book. Pretty graphic at times so not the most appropriate for those with sensitive stomachs. Well written.

Strange Candy by Laurel K. Hamilton. I picked this book because I really like her Anita Blake series. I didn't really like these stories mainly because that was what I had in mind (stories similar to Anita Blake), but they really weren't bad either, just not what I expected.

This may be the last of the summer reading reviews but I hope to have slips available the beginning of September for readers to submit reviews of library materials that I will post here monthly.
Stay tuned!
Diane
