Video course

The Library now offers a basic camcorder and movie editing course to interested library patrons. Once you complete the three hour course, patrons are able to check out the library camcorders with tripods or use the editing computer here at the library.

As part of the course, patrons create a brief library promotional video. Three patrons have completed promotional videos for the library. Here are two. Return for more videos as videos are completed.

We are looking for local people to make movies to submit in the "On the Edge" Family Film Festival which will premiere May 5-6, 2011.

Film Class Now Avaiable

The first film class and local instructor being trained.

The International Falls Public Library now offers a three hour crash course in using a digital video camera and editing the footage to create a film. Once you have completed the course you are eligible to check out the digital cameras for a week at a time and reserve the meeting room to use the editing computer.

If you are interested in learning to use the digital cameras and editing computer please contact the library and we'll get a class scheduled. We are currently offering the class about once a week until we get through the waiting list. Once we are through the waiting list we'll offer the class on an as needed basis.
