Poetry Friday

Somehow, somewhere I will find time to update this blog more than every two weeks. But in the meantime, here is a poem to celebrate the changing of the seasons and the wild weather that blows through.

The morns are meeker than they were,
The nuts are getting brown;
The berry's cheek is plumper,
The rose is out of town.

The maple wears a gayer scarf,
The field a scarlet gown.
Lest I should be old-fashioned,
I'll put a trinket on.

Emily Dickinson

So celebrate fall by putting on your own color today.

Last week I attended the annual Minnesota Library Association conference and attended a workshop on creating commmunity through the Internet. I will be attempting to make some changes to this blog and to the main library webpage to reflect some of what I learned and became excited about. Stay tuned.
